Preventing the Influenza virus
Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland – Jan 2, 2008
Viroblock has started the first series of experiments to validate its antiviral approach against Influenza virus. Initial in vitro assays will be followed by a series of animal testing using the ferret model. These proof-of-principle experiments aim at demonstrating the ability of Viroblock’s products to prevent the natural transmission of human Influenza virus.
This will be done in UK in partnership with Retroscreen Virology Ltd, a Europe's leading contract Virology research company.
